Director of Competition: Shall be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the Club’s seasonal competition; i.e., field planning, field scheduling, league schedules. The Director of Competition shall be the liaison with the Referees in the scheduling of referees through certified Referee Assignor(s). The Director of Competition shall attend all primary league (see Article 4.2 of Bylaws) scheduling meetings. The Director of Competition shall oversee all League Representative(s) who should attend all other Primary League meetings and represent the Club in league matters. The League Representative(s), primary and non-primary league representatives, shall report to the Board Of Directors all league business involving the Club, but are not voting members of the Board Of Directors. The Director of Competition shall keep a record of all injuries, yellow and red cards and shall report infractions to the Director of Coaching for appropriate disciplinary actions involving routine Referee’s decisions (i.e., yellow or red cards) in accordance with FYSA rules; referee judgment calls shall not be cause for protest or appeal. The Director of Competition shall refer injury reports, player or parent misconduct or coach’s misconduct to the appropriate club committee for review within 5 days of receipt of report. Any other misconduct may be referred to committee, or the Board Of Directors, at the Director of Competition’s discretion.
Treasurer: Shall maintain records and receipts of all moneys to be deposited in a bank in the name of the Club, receipts of all bills paid with cash, and shall assure that all accounts are paid by check and bear the signature of the Treasurer. The Treasurer shall produce all financial records when required by the Board Of Directors and submit, in writing, a financial report at all monthly board meetings. The Treasurer shall be responsible, along with the President and Secretary to file all Corporation, Federal and State Forms as required. The Treasurer shall develop and present an annual budget, with the assistance of the Financial Operations and Budget (FOB) Committee, to the Board Of Directors in August for approval during the September Board Of Directors meeting. The Treasurer shall be chairman of the Financial Operations and Budget Committee. The Treasurer shall have his/her signature on file at the bank as the primary signee for the Club banking account.
Note: The Treasurer position may not be combined with any other Board of Directors position, with the exception of Secretary or Team Representative.
WebCoordinator: Shall create/maintain HTML web pages and coordinate with site hosting company for email lists and billing purposes. Responsibilities also include involvement in troubleshooting technical issues with online registration and payment services. |
