Bobcat Invitational

Tournament Rules

The Bobcat Invitational is a FHSAA sanctioned event and will use their rules of play. The following rules have been added for tournament purposes.

Game Length:
All games will consist of 35 minute halves, with a 10 minute half time intermission.

Over Time/Ties/PKs:
Ties will stand at the end of regulation for every game except the final. If the game is tied at the end of regulation for the final, there will be two 10 minute golden goal overtime periods. There will be a 5 minute break between periods. If the score is still tied after golden goal play, a PK shootout will decide the winner.

Tournament Point System:

  • Win 3 points
  • Tie 1 point
  • Loss 0 points

Tie Breakers will be decided in the following order:

  • Head to head
  • Goals for
  • Goals against
